Tsavo West is mountainous and swampy. It contains the Shetani Lava, Mzima Springs and the Lake Jipe. It is home to wildlife including giraffes, buffalo, elephant, hippo, and lion among others. The park offers rock climbing services and houses a rhino sanctuary.
Tsavo East, which is slightly larger, is more mountainous with the Yatta Plateau stretching across the park and wetter with a variety of swamps and the Galana River flowing across the park. It is home to a variety of birds due to the presence of trees and scrubs. The park overlooks the Chyulu Hills. The park is a protected area since it is home to the larger mammals including elephants, rhino and buffalos.

DAY 1: Nairobi to Voi
You will be met by our company representative at the pick-up point, who will brief you on the day`s activities. Depart Nairobi enroute to Voi with stop over at Mtito Andei town for lunch while enjoying the scenery. Leave the town, enter Tsavo West National Park camp. Arrival at the hotel for checking in and freshening up, leave the hotel for a late game drive. Get to enjoy the animals in their natural habitat. Return to the hotel for dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 2: Tsavo West National Park Full Day
You will have early breakfast and will carry packed lunch, leave the camp for an early game drive. This provides an opportunity for the visitors to see the wildlife including lions, giraffes, hyrax, elephants, cheetah, and leopard among others while grazing or feeding on their prey. Bird watching is highly encouraged due to the over 600 bird species at the park. Stop over at Lake Jipe for lunch while enjoying the scenery and doing some bird watching. After lunch, continue with the game drive passing by Mzima Springs, which is a parched lava rock that contains clear water, and Shetani Lava. Return to the camp for freshening up. Leave the camp for a late game drive while enjoy the evening sunset. Return to the camp for dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 3: Tsavo West National Park to Tsavo East National Park
You will have breakfast, do some sun bathing after which you will check out of Tsavo West National Park enroute to Tsavo East National Park. Stop over at Tsavo shops for lunch and do some shopping. Arrive Tsavo East National Park for check in and freshening up. Have a late game drive enjoying the wildlife and the late sunset.
