Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve.
You shall be picked from your hotel early morning and depart to Masai Mara game reserve through the Great Rift Valley. There will be a brief stopover at the View Point of the Rift valley whose view of the valley below is a spectacular view of the Rift valley floor and its beautiful landscape and at Narok town for a break and refueling then proceed for stop over for lunch enroute. After arriving in the camp you will relax then proceed for evening game drive thereafter through the park in search animals popularly known for the wildebeest migration from Serengeti in Tanzania Be keen to spot the wildebeests, zebras, lion, cheetah, elephant, and buffalo, Thompson’s gazelle, hyena, black-backed and side-striped jackals, impala, bat-eared foxes, baboons, warthog, Thompson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, waterbuck, reed-buck, hippo, crocodile and elands.

Dinner and overnight at Rhino Safari camp.

Day 2: Full Day Masai Mara.
After breakfast proceed for dull day games viewing with picnic lunch as you explore this spectacular Park. The Mara is the land of African legend: Lion are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and, less commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature’s few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September where the big animals and their predators are to be present in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of Bee-Eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of the Mara’s birds, occur in the reserve.

Day 3: Full Day Masai Mara
After breakfast leave the camp with packed picnic lunch for reserve which is essentially the Northern extension of Tanzanians Serengeti National park. Visit the river Mara and River Talek cutting through the park and the source of water for the animals. Here you will have a chance to see the hippos and crocodile. The annual wildebeest and zebras migration happens along the river Mara. You may be lucky to witness the crossing and the struggle for survival as the animals avoid the hungry crocodiles and hippos waiting to feed on them. The Masai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Masai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park – Moran’s (warriors) loping across the plains, young boys herding goats, or elders grouped under a tree discussing matters of the day .
A visit to a Masai boma (homestead) reveals this outstanding culture and customs. (Optional).

Day 4: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park.
Take earlier game drive then return for breakfast. Enjoy the cool morning game drive round the park with better chances of spotting the animals as they graze or hunt before the sunrises. After breakfast, check out of the camp and also from the parks gate and depart for Nakuru taking lunch enroute. Upon arrival, check in at budget hotel and relax.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Lake Elementaita
After your breakfast you will have a morning game viewing session in Lake Nakuru national park to view flamingos that are famous in the park and other water birds like pelicans plains game like the Cape buffalo giraffe and baboons .After the game drive, check out from hotel and depart to lake elemetaita with lunch enroute. You will arrive for Dinner and overnight at Sentrim lodge.

Day 6: Lake Elementaita to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast proceed for bird watching in lake Elementaita, Lake Elementaita is a bird watcher’s paradise encircled by shaggy hills and enveloped in serenity and birdsong.This alkaline wonder is situated between Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru and lies in the shadow of a hill locally known as ‘sleeping warrior’.

Day 7: Lake Naivasha to Nairobi
After breakfast then proceeds to Lake Naivasha for boat ride, Lake Naivasha is home to a variety of types of wildlife including over 400 different species of bird and a sizable population of hippos. The fish community in the lake has been highly variable over time, influenced by changes in climate, fishing effort and the introduction of invasive species. Then proceed to Nairobi with lunch in route, arrive for drop off in Nairobi.
